Will of Jno. Weigle In the name of God Amen. ------ I John Wigal being of Moon Township Beaver County & State of Penn. being sick and weak in Body, but of sound Mind memory & understanding, praised be God for it, and Considering the Certainty of & the uncertainty of the Time there of, and to the end I may be better prepared to leave this world when ever it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make & declare this my last will and Testament in manner following, that is to say ---- First and principally I commend my soul unto the Hands
of Almighty God my Creator hoping for free pardon and remission of all
my sins and enjoy everlasting happinys in the heavenly Kingdom through
Jesus Christ my saviour; my Body I commit to the Earth at the discretion
of My Executors herein after named ---- I will that all my Just Debts as
shall be by me owing at my Death together with my funeral Ecpences and
all Charges touching the proving of or otherwise Concerning this my
Will, shall in the first place out of my personal Estate & effects
be fully paid & satisfied, & from and after payment thereof and
subject thereto then my will is that all the residue of my Goods Stock
Chattells merchandizes and household furnature shall be impartially
appraized & sold for the most it will bring, that the same shall be
divided in to five equal shares after deduction one third of the whole
amount whereof I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Barbara. The
residue I give unto & bequeath unto and among my Children, Barbara,
Elizabeth, Susanah, Sibe, Jane, share and share alike, and to be paid to
those of Age at end of one year after my Death and on so as they arrive
to age on day of marriage which shall first happen, An my will and
meanning is that in case John Weigel {seal} Signed sealed and acknowledged by the Testator in the presence of the Subscribers as his last will & Testament - M Baker - Daniel {his X mark} Wigal Beaver County, Be it remembered that on the Sixth day of September A.D. 1820 Before me David Johnson Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of Administration for said County, personally came Michal Baker Esq. and Daniel Weigel who being Duly sworn did depose and say that they were personally present and heard and saw the Testator sign seal and declare the forgoing Instrument & writing as and for his last will & Testament, that at the time of so doing the said Testator was of sound mind memory & understanding according to the best of their knowledge observation & belief --- and that at the testators desire they signed the signed the same as witnesses.---- David Johnson Register ---- |
