Here's a bit about myself.

Born in Western Pennsylvania, January 3, 1941 in Monaca, Beaver County, to be exact.

Began elementary school in Center Township and moved to a New Sewickley farm in 1951. Continued elementary education at Unionville Elementary School and graduated from Freedom-New Sewickley High School in 1958. Did quite a bit of singing with my older brother during our school years and it was a great joy.

Attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in the fall of 1958 and joined the US Navy in 1959. Traveled the Caribbean and Pacific regions during my 4 year duty aboard the USS Providence, CLG-6 (Guided Missile Light Cruiser for those of you "land-lubbers" not familiar with US Naval vessels).

Married after my military service and attended the Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA evening school. Moved to central PA in 1969 for an electrical material sales position and have been associated with electrical sales and service industry ever since. Continuing education completed in Computer Science and Economics at F&M College and Millersville University in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. My present employer is a company owned by me and one of our sons. That company is Apparatus Repair & Engineering, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD and the company performs sales, repair, service and design of electric motor and control systems and associated equipment.

Here are just a few of the "ITEMS" in my life.

bulletFamily - It's what matters! And we are Thankful for ours!

bulletComputers - I have a tendency to Build rather than Buy complete. If you're into it or want to get started here are a couple of supplier's web sites. These folks are fantastic when it comes to Knowledge, Support and Price. Computer shows in the area are a great place to pick up software. In many cases it's one or two versions old but the price is right! Peripherals too! Keyboards, joysticks, speakers, etc.

bulletWork - Being part owner of a family owned business means a lot of time spent on "Work" related things. My wife is VERY understanding and supportive.
