George Baker (2nd)
1732 - April 17, 1802

George Baker was born in 1732, in Strasbourg, Germany, and came to America with his father and two other brothers, arriving on September 25, 1753, on the Ship Peggy.  George met an English girl of "exceptional talent and beauty" by the name of Elizabeth Nicholson, of Philadelphia. They were married around 1759 and their family began. You can read the Baker Family History page for additional information.

George died on April 17, 1802, in Moon Township, Beaver County, PA, and is buried in the family cemetery, now destroyed but a memorial was erected by the land owners on the site, in Center Township, Beaver County, PA.

The birth date of Elizabeth Nicholson Baker is unknown but her year of death is set as 1812, with burial in the family cemetery, near others of the family, in Moon Township, Beaver County, PA.
